"Every patient I've prescribed it to has been very, very ill and within 8 to 12 hours, they were basically symptom-free," Cardillo told Eyewitness News. "So clinically I am seeing a resolution."

If I were to get extremely sick with this virus, I am demanding it.

If you live in La you'll get it. Ochsner, UMC and others have it on a protocol. They've been using it for weeks.

Do you have a source for that? Is it in combination with zinc? Thanks

Let’s hope so, seems like that’s how to get success. It seems like it needs to be in combination with something else.

I've seen the protocol. I've spoken with doctors who work there.

I didnt see zinc on the protocol though.

Exactly!

either die...or survive with a "possible" side affect.

My body..my choice!

You should request it early on in the illness, honestly.

Thanks! According to this doctor and others I’ve seen the zinc is necessary for the best outcomes. Hope info gets out to them. It seems we are at a time when it’s up to patients to help inform doctors. Hope this changes soon.
Thanks again!

The drug is well-tolerated in most people.

This dispute between Fauci and Trump has been manufactured by the media. It's not real. There are just differences between what a scientist and the President can say. Fauci can't endorse it because if later well-designed studies showed minimal efficacy he'd look like a jackass. It's true that the drug is unproven, and it's also true that we should be trying it. It's not one or the other. This is so stupid.

It would not surprise me if they were using zinc by now. I know of a smaller facility that does.

I'd say that's an accurate portrayal of the situation

And it's good that Trump is willing to put his own credibility on the line if it can save lives

Spot on. In any other case, people would want caution on the part of Fauci. People rail against poorly researched medications and there is an industry built on suing manufacturers.

This is an instance where Fauci will maintain a professional level of caution but doctors treating corona will prescribe plaquenil regardless.
