K.T. McFarland Says Mueller Interrogators Put Her Through ‘Hell’

Longtime Republican politico K.T. McFarland said in a radio interview Wednesday that Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team pressured her for “20, 30, 40 hours of hell” to either cop a plea or implicate other Trump associates in crimes, even though she didn’t think she or they did anything wrong.
McFarland, who served a four-month stint under Trump’s short-lived national security adviser Michael Flynn, was ensnared in Mueller’s dragnet after leaving the administration in May 2017.
quote:
McFarland said that she was at a disadvantage when she was being questioned because she no longer had access to her White House files.
“I am the original girl scout,” the former deputy national security adviser explained. “I followed all the rules, I turned in all of my files and my phone logs and my test messages and emails when I left government, didn’t leak to the press.”
Unfortunately, she said, “playing by the rules” is what got her “in so much trouble.”
“When the Mueller people came knocking at my door, they started quizzing me on stuff that I didn’t have access to and didn’t remember 100 percent accurately, and it allowed them to say, ‘well you must be lying then,'” McFarland told WMAL hosts Vince Coglianese and Mary Walter.
quote:
“They gave me the distinct impression after … 20, 30, 40 hours of hell that they wanted me to either plead guilty to a crime I didn’t feel I committed, or to talk about other people having done things that I didn’t think they had done,” she explained.
quote:
“I finally said, no, you’re going to have to charge me with a crime,” she said. “At that point, they went away because I couldn’t give them what they needed to spin their web. And then they moved on to the porn star queen,” she added, referring to porn star Stephanie Clifford, also known as Stormy Daniels.

The board's progs approve of these tactics. By any means necessary.

Should have started here and not gotten to it after hours of interrogation.

This. NEVER speak to the police (particularly the FBI/feds) without an attorney.

They did that shite to everyone even indirectly connected to trump's campaign. It seems like KGB type of shite. Where they didn't even have a fricking crime to begin with. They had a dossier that they knew was fake, and they used that as the bullshite foundation to rampantly go after anyone connected to trump, in order to see if they committed any crimes.
Even this McFarland, someone who is apparently as clean as a window wiped with windex, was put through hell while they desperately tore her life apart in hopes of finding some sort of crime.
Meanwhile, Mueller helped get immunity for people like Podesta.

people have no idea how evil and corrupt this country is.
as much as Trump has done to expose these Washington bureaucrats it will not be enough.
the "swamp" is much worse than i expected.
50 years of DJ Trump as POTUS would not overcome this den of vipers.

this is why you never
NEVER
talk to the feds without a lawyer (and even then, you don't talk to them).

This, this, this! Why does everyone not do this? Make them prove their case. Don't say anything. You have the protection of the 5th. I would not cooperate for one second.

I think initially there was a lot of naïveté about Mueller. Honest Bob and all. Trump and his group let their guard down to try to end it quickly.

She evidently did not have a good attorney. I do NOT talk to them at all no matter what. They can either charge me or I am walking, and frick them in the arse.
Why do people let these pricks get away with this?

It will be a sad day when these authoritarians get power back.
Every piece of Filth that posts here approves of these tactics.

Why do you have to sit there and let them put you through a Stasi session when you have not been charged with anything?
I take the Fifth, and my attorney says charge my client or we are walking. Then we walk, because I know damn well I did nothing wrong. frick all if I let them bankrupt me.

They do against their fellow citizens but not against captured enemy combatants in war. What does that say about the left?
