wife and I are both 62 and neither of us have ever had the flu shot, never will. don't see this any different

I'm cool with demonstrably effective vaccines. I'm sure not going to be going to try out one that is developed in such a quick timeframe. Not like I'm going to be at severe risk without it.

A client of mine was telling me about a conversation he was having with his friend who is part of a team working on the vaccine. His friend told him he shouldn't take the vaccine, the people that are susceptible should be the ones taking it. If you're under 65 and in decent health then you shouldn't take it.
Basically said he should think about this vaccine the same way he thinks about the flu vaccine. If you don't normally get the flu shot then why would you get this one?
