Apparently this Kimmel story goes deeper than Charlie Kirk.

"Ghoulish conservative group"

And this is why no one cares they will be out of work. The very bias shows in what should be an innocuous interview.

A late night comedy show should never ever be the DNC. YOU CAN FEEL THE STAFFERS CONTEMPT FOR DEPLORABLE FLYOVER COUNTRY.

I can't imagine a scenario either that a show would return where they refuse to follow the steps their employer put forth in order to allow their return.

That’s the thing. Nobody was watching and nobody actually cares.

Nobody that claims they love new crappy Star Wars actually watches.

Nobody that claims they love the WNBA actually watches.

Nobody that claims they love Colbert actually watches.

We’re answering to teenagers and bots. The boomer liberal elites are just too stupid and afraid to see it.

I truly believe so many problems in our society could be cleared up by a few people on the left having the backbone to just say “Shut up, weirdo. Nobody cares.”

It’s becoming more and more obvious ABC/Disney was looking for a reason to ditch him. And good on them.

I dont understand...why would disney keep paying the tab if you're losing them money? Why do leftists have no sense of economics? They just want endless money to express their emotional angst to the world.

The Left always sees the opposition as they're themselves.... Kinda how a liar thinks everyone is lying. The Left has ridden the slippery-slope of "never enough crazy" for two Decades now.

This is why Disney wont change direction until it completely implodes. The lowest employee at disney is still a die hard progressive nutjob. The entire disney corporate structure is occupied by die hard left wing nutjobs.

Good.

Lost in all the "uproar" was the fact that the show was total crap. Here's a crazy idea, Disney/ABC. Hire somebody with actual talent and return to the days when it was all about entertaining bpeople.

Hell, give the show to Jimmy Carr. EVERYBODY'S head would explode.

These guys haven't the foggiest clue how out of the mainstream they are. The guy is actually intimating Disney is something other than radical left?

A Jimmy Kimmel staffer revealed during an interview with Rick Ellis, published Friday, that they don't see a scenario in which the late-night show returns.

"I want to think it will. But I can't imagine a scenario in which that happens. Even if Jimmy was willing to publicly apologize and donate money to whatever ghoulish conservative group that is demanding it... MAGA people will never be happy. It will never be enough," the staffer told Ellis in an interview for his "Too Much TV" newsletter.

Damn.

LMAO... glad they found someone level-headed to discuss the possibility. /sarcasm

Some of them know they are in a war, just by the way they interview. Good for you fella, just wish I had a name to attach to the staffer's quotes.

'Your enemies, closer' and all that.

Liberals are so used to acting like unprincipled and immoral assholes and people just allowing it. Now they cant comprehend whats happening with even the slightest bit of pushback from the right and asking them to show some decency.

No one under the age of 80 watches OTA TV anymore. I would assume most viewings of Kimmel come from Youtube. Youtube takes a cut of that ad revenue so right there they make less. Colbert's show is said to have been losing huge amounts of money. Even the owner of CBS Redstone said so much. Could she be lying? Sure but why. Kimmel's show was losing money and they were going to cancel him one way or another. Late night is dead. Watch Fallon and Meyers also get canned. Look at Conan and Leno and even Letterman have Youtube channels with small/tiny staffs.

He won't have a chance to get his show back unless a Democrat gets elected President along with a congressional majority. Til then, it's podcast city, Jimmie.

What a crock of shite. MAGA wasn't watching you before. Making excuses because Jimmy would rather the show cancelled than apologize on air. They should hate him for destroying their financial security, not blame some nebulous conservative boogeyman.
