Stuff like this can also fire up Trump’s base turnout and possibly reduce Biden’s base turnout as well

Can somebody copy and paste it on here for us without a WSJ subscription.

So it looks the WSJ news side is directly contradicting some of the recent claims:

Hunter Biden’s Ex-Business Partner Alleges Father Knew About Venture
quote:

Former vice president says he had no involvement; corporate records reviewed by The Wall Street Journal show no role for Joe Biden
Edit: I’ll add this:
quote:

Text messages and emails related to the venture that were provided to the Journal by Mr. Bobulinski, mainly the spring and summer of 2017, don’t show either Hunter Biden or James Biden discussing a role for Joe Biden in the venture.

I always put my money laundering deals and payments for influence on my corporate records.

The issue is that biden lied about never discussing deals with his son.

These emails and other email leaks in the last week show multiple instances of biden meeting with hunter biden associates.

Yeah. There’s not gonna be anything in “corporate records.” This isn’t Studio 54.

I mean do people really think “dementia-riddled” Joe Biden was laundering money?

Money laundering is simply obscuring the provenance of funds through multiple pass-throughs.

That’s exactly what is alleged (in part) to have happened.

Strassel's "opinion" piece is worthless.

The Journal news side has the same information and reached the opposite conclusion.
quote:

Text messages and emails related to the venture that were provided to the Journal by Mr. Bobulinski, mainly the spring and summer of 2017, don’t show either Hunter Biden or James Biden discussing a role for Joe Biden in the venture.

quote:

The venture with CEFC, known as SinoHawk Holdings, was half held by Mr. Bobulinski, who served as chief executive, and four other partners—Hunter and James Biden; Rob Walker, a former Clinton administration official; and James Gilliar, a British national—according to the corporate documents reviewed by the Journal.

quote:

Mr. Gilliar, told the Journal: “I would like to clear up any speculation that former Vice President Biden was involved with the 2017 discussions about our potential business structure. I am unaware of any involvement at anytime of the former Vice President. The activity in question never delivered any project revenue.

You absolute fricking idiot.

The whole scheme was built around not having Joe Biden’s name on anything, which is why Hunter’s partners said Joe’s 10% equity stake in the corrupt China venture would be “held by H[unter].”

Claim was always that Hunter/Jim were doing deals with Joe's knowledge, but so as to keep Joe's involvement hidden. Gillar's denial is limited and refuses to comment on critical text.
