There is some truth to that.

This is one of the key areas of that mature leadership shows itself to be of overwhelming value.

You can't expect to have a high school government president make such strong decisions in times of crisis, and in this case, PREPARATION.

I pray thanks to God above for the good people who WANT to lead through service to others.

I heard an interesting argument on how the 17th Amendment was partially responsible for this whole clusterfrick. It basically said that since senators aren't picked by state legislatures anymore, the departments created by the federal government aren't as responsive to state needs and can't/wont work more closely with the respective state agencies. The CDC is a poorly run organization that is run by Washington DC for Washington DC. If senators were hand picked by state legislatures like they used to be, the states would have much more control over how they're organized and run.

Every left sky screamer I know in real life = mUh tEsTs oRaNgE mAn bAd pEaCh fOrTy fIvE

Me, a rational human being = How does a failure of the CDC fall on a President? And does it not prove that government agencies, filled with lifetime bureaucrats, insane bureaucracy, and limited accountability isn't the way to solve anything? And why would we want them in charge of healthcare for 330+ million citizens?

This is really a government issue and not a governing issue. Everything the government runs is half arse. That is why I will never understand people wanting more and bigger government when there are so many examples of how incompetent it is.

I think we can stop with the Corona Virus crap now. It’s obvious something else is at play here. I don’t know what, but this virus isn’t shite.

It really is. And the beauty of the bureaucratic bloated system they have set up is they ALWAYS have another place to distract and point the finger after their failure, the media runs with it, and citizens never hold them really accountable for their complete failures. Failures that repeatedly happen despite lucrative salaries, good job security, and basically unlimited funding.

I’m partially convinced most of the government agencies are holdover FDR make-work programs writ large.

And if Trump hadn’t followed the CDC’s initial plan, “He’s not listening to the experts!!!!!!”

This is a perfect example of government control/government work vs. private sector. And leftists want more CDC, less private industry. One of the good things about Wuhan flu, is it is exposing the failures of fedgov. Anyone notice the elimination of regulatory procedures were removed to allow the private industry to accelerate testing kits?

GOVERNMENT ONLY SLOWS DOWN PROGRESS

This is the result of dependance on a monolithic government.

No one should trust government to be there for you.

Please explain how pointing out the failures of big government is "politicizing".
