Justice Gorsuch lays out the "tortured procedural history,"...

Justice Gorsuch unloads on totalitarian democrats who shut America down.
"We do not need to confront a bayonet, we need only a nudge, before we willingly abandon the nicety of requiring laws to be adopted by our legislative representatives and accept rule by decree. Along the way, we will accede to the loss of many cherished civil liberties—the right to worship freely, to debate public policy without censorship, to gather with friends and family, or simply to leave our homes. We may even cheer on those who ask us to disregard our normal lawmaking processes and forfeit our personal freedoms. Of course, this is no new story. Even the ancients warned that democracies can degenerate toward autocracy in the face of fear [citing Aristotle's Politics]."

Neil has the right spirit, but you are eventually going to need autocracy to save you from democracy.

A revolution to what? More democracy?

Globalism and a one world government.

This is nice but how about SCOTUS do some actual heavy hitting and knock down things like the presumption of regularity, restore separation of powers, end Chevron completely?
The Judicial Branch is a lap dog for the Executive primarily, and the Legislative secondarily.
The Founders warned us that the judiciary would only be a threat to us if it got co-mingled with the other branches, which is exactly what has happened. The modern judiciary does not follow the Constitution, it follows partisan politics and then defaults to more and more government power, no matter how many times the government steps over the line and/or abuses the People.
Go look at the stats on federal judges - it's ridiculously tilted toward those that spent their time representing government and it's rare to find ones that spent time fighting government.
They get paid by the government, they get their protection from the government, they come up the ranks representing government - do you think this branch will ever do anything but side with the government?

Sadly Gorsuch opened the window to the tranny bull shite we are seeing right now. I hope he figures out a way to shut it down on the future but I'm not holding my breath.

True democracy, sure. That scenario is plausible.
The founding fathers, however, masterfully engineered the US, via constitutional doctrine, as a constitutional republic because they knew your point would eventually come to pass. Now, federal overreach and assertion, through agencies which supercede and circumvent independent states' authority, have ensured that the most critical of the "decisive" states in the "union" swing the same way as the states already under total control of the federal government. The people of Arizona did not vote majority Biden. Neither did the people of Georgia. It's bullshite and we all know it.
The constitutional republic worked as brilliantly as it was intended, until it wasn't a constitutional republic any more due to the explosive expansion of the fed.

Except we're not a democracy, we're a constitutional republic. A true, pure democracy at our level of population would be a nightmare.

This ^^^^^
SCOTUS is complicit in this mess we find ourselves in... Many things they have allowed to slide through the years have created the opportunities to strip away our freedoms and government's responsibilities...

Conservative scotus members are scared. The intimidation tactics are working.

With a dysfunctional Congress and a democrat in the White House, right wingers will insist that all action be taken by Congress, meaning no action will be taken at all. But when a Republican is in the White House, they were all happy with executive action.

Nah. We're already there.

The takeover by the alphabet agencies, who are run by the unelected and staffed by public sector unions,
has come at a creeping pace and in tiny increments.
Like death by a thousand paper cuts.

I don't pretend to know much about SCOTUS or it's details, but.... them overturning Roe vs Wade was against the wishes of Democrats and returning the abortion decision to the states to decide which was true to the Constitution.

Yes, of some type. Democracy is basically turning the keys to the kingdom over to the lesser beings around you.
