13.5%

Married filing jointly and federal due/AGI is 13.5%. Withholding was a little too much so we get ~5,000 return.

Thanks Daddy Don 9!

I know. I trust our CPA and have just looked over it and don’t see any glaring errors.

I’m rolling with it though

Nice! I also got a tax cut bonus from my employer last year...loving it!

I’m sure that’s narrow minded and selfish and it’s killing minority illegal immigrant children who vote.

Which is terrible, but what do you want me to do?!

And to think, you were one of the primary posters here, along with NT74, who kept saying you couldn't wait for Trump to lose in 2016 so you could troll this board like a mofo.

Funny how that worked out for you.

My tax return went way down this year. I'm not going to complain because i realize that less withholding is a good thing for me.

Link? You and KCT stalk me enough to be able to go to your Boosie spreadsheet and find some good quotes.

Let’s see them

Just looked at it again and that married filing jointly standard deduction of $24,000 is nice. What was it before the reform?

Of course it's true. I guess you're going to reach into your bag of revisionist history and tell us that you actually voted for Trump?

Dude, a lot of people here know your history.

You aren't that important dude.

They probably remember when you post lefty sounding things because of the chick in your avatar.

"Oh, the dude with the cute chick in the avatar posted something dumb again."

Funny how neither one of you can point me to an actual post of mine.

But I’m done with this with both of you. This thread is about tax rates. If you want to talk about your perception of my post history then start a new thread.

I owe 8K! We take 0 deductions, married jointly with 2 kids claimed. Effective tax rate 20%.

I was ugly this year as we had major taxable expenses associated with a company paid move. The company paid the taxes but it moved our AGI astronomically high and we were screwed. I shutter to think what it would have been in 2017. We normally have an effective tax rate around 18%

Screw all you refund bastards... I haven't had a refund in 22 years.
