I know no one who watches NASCAR. Only know Wallace from his almost lynching in the garage.

I don't follow Neckcar. Is Wallace a good driver with talent to become top notch? Contender? Or a Danica type PR campaign that does well to run in the pack and not cause wrecks?

I doubt that is a Cup team. Sounds like an Xfinity Series team.

Middle of the road, IMO. Not terrible, but also not one of the top drivers. He also hasn’t had a top-level ride in the Cup Series, though. The thing that likely makes Bubba appealing as a driver for a new team is that he will likely bring sponsors with him. He has some sponsors that sponsor his current ride but to my understanding are committed to him, not his current team, and would likely follow him to his new ride. In this day and age, if a driver has sponsors who will come with him, he has a big advantage in landing a ride.

I just checked. It's a Cup team.

Even if JGR donates engines, this won't go well.

I doubt JGR will just be donating engines. This team will likely have a full technical alliance with JGR. JGR has had these alliances with other teams, one of which produced a Cup Series championship for Martin Truex Jr. at Furniture Row Racing. The team JGR currently has such an alliance with is closing down after this season, so it makes sense for this new team to be formed by Hamlin now. If this alliance is indeed like the others JGR has had, this team will likely have JGR related people working for it. I think Furniture Row even had a JGR pit crew during their alliance.

It’s obvious by your questions that you do indeed watch “neckcar”. I lost interest when Gordon retired but yeah Wallace is mediocre compared to his peers in that series.

Hamlin’s a winner so getting him on board is a no brainer. Signing Wallace as your first driver is daf when starting up a team. All he can do on most days is not wreck the car.

No, I don't and haven't since late 1990s. I watched and bet it hard from 1995-2000. When a Pepperdine MBA friend of mine that crunched happy hour laps, and handicapped it for me.

Luckily caught a nice 20/1 Busch Bristol winner via Busch loving his car setup in an VSIN interview with Musberger in 2018..but didn't watch it.

I find it as boring as paint drying even when betting multiple drivers. Game recap/highlights of a race suffices greatly, and my interest is only of Daytona, Bristol, Cup Final, if at all.

NFL, NCAAF, March Madness, MLB, Del Mar & Ky Derby, the only sports I can watch with any level of purist eyes..

All other sports require dollar, nickel, and/or dime level action to create interest.

P.S. I honestly didn't know who Wallace was prior to Noosegate, had to Wiki him.
