You haven’t had a coherent, A to B thought process in this thread yet. I salute you. You’d think it might happen once by accident. And yet you have avoided it.

You haven’t made an actual point in an reply to my posts.

I said There is 1st amendment grounds for gay marriage (or at least prohibiting establishment of one religions definition of marriage)

You laughed at the idea of marriage being a religious concept.

I pointed out there aren’t any secular reasons to prohibit gay marriage. Mostly to challenge you make a fricking point.

Which again you e sucked out of by not being able to follow A to B.

Youre mostly good as slinging insults and ducking making and kind of statement.

And?

We used to prohibit a lot of things that we now realize should be allowed.

I don't get why the pro gay marriage crowd isn't fighting for polygamists marriage rights too.

Oh hell no - it is an UNREASONABLE IMPOSITION on normalcy.

SCREW this "accommodation" to spread mental illness. Bring back mental institutions where these freaks can be isolated from the rest of society ===> IF they continue to make demands to be "accommodated" by rational society.

If a person has some mental conflict but they find a way to cope with it that does not endanger the society at large, then let them live their lives in liberty and freedom like normal people.

But once the ADVERTISE that "I am mentally defective" and "I DEMAND that the rest of you participate in my mental FANTASY" THAT is the time to hustle them off to the same place you would if he demanded to be served an actual shite sandwich in a school cafeteria.

Enough of this stupidity.

They don’t mind enforcing values as long as they agree with the values.

I don't believe it was ever prohibited, I'm only sure it was never prohibited in my lifetime.

What's confusing? Gays haven't been prohibited from getting married.

He’s going to respond with “they were always allowed to do it, it just wasn’t recognized” like that’s some kind of debating Kung fu.

That's right. A federal judge just stated that schools MUST allow a student who identifies as another sex to use the bathroom they identify with.
I grew up in the 60's watching The Jetsons. We thought we'd all be driving around in flying cars by now. Instead we're debating whether or not men can have periods and if boys can pee in the girl's restroom.

You said prohibited, it never was.

Sorry reality doesn't align with your world view, but that's your problem not mine.

Ok, but your getting into semantics and ignoring substance.

Which is childish.

No.

Prohibition is a restriction of freedom.

Lack of subsidy is a completely different concept, and it's critical to accurately draw that distinction.

To say it was prohibited is ridiculous.

Except when homosexuality itself was prohibited, but yeah I guess Laws that specifically don’t recognize it don’t prohibit anyone from saying they’re married.

Thank you for pointing that out.
