Galileo was was tried by the Roman Inquisition for advocating for the heliocentric model of the solar system. He was found "vehemently suspect of heresy" and was forced to recant his views and spent the rest of his life under house arrest.

This. Solar and wind are complete farces.

Anyone who actually CARED about the climate would jump on the Prof David Ruzik train and get nuclear.

Absolutely. Whether you agree that mankind is accelerating climate change or not...we arent going windmill and solar panel our way out of it. Nuclear is the best option. ....and the notion that we are going to come up with something as energy dense as fossil fuels any time soon is just not realistic. I lean towards the data being correct that we are accelerating warming but its not going to be the end of the world. It may effect inhabitants of certain areas of the globe in a positive or negative way. Things like food production could be at risk and flooding risks may increase in some areas. We should stay on top of these trends in climate change regardless of their cause.

There is no place for this kind of thinking in the climate change debate.

Just for clarity, I approve.

I grew up in my earliest years in the greater Los Angeles area, and all the fear mongering was about "acid rain". Anyone else remember that shite?

Then it was the ozone layer. Then global warming. Now "climate change". I'm surprised Al Gore hasn't had multiple strokes and aneurysms.

The climate change one is the most hilarious though. The climate has been changing on this rock for 4.3 billion years. We think we can stop that?

No and the few rational among us that believe based on the date that mankind is having an effect dont really believe we can stop it either. Its unfortunate that the discussion has devolved into two sides that either believe the data that fossil fuels contributes to an acceleration of climate change is a total hoax and those that believe the world will be in a state of total disaster this century if we dont stop burning fossil fuels now.

There is a lot of money in the hoax business.

And globalists love that "climate policy" increases their authoritarian control of the populace. That's what it's really about. 15 minute cities, EV's with hackability and kill switches, digital currency to financially penalize and debank dissenters/agitators...
