I just heard John MacArthur on a interview talk about our current societal problems and how the government is trying to close churches. He listed the four things that have traditionally been stressed in this country, and how each pillar has either been attacked, replaced are redefined.
He’s right. All of these are under attack.

Interesting-
Conscience- destroyed by academia pushing moral relativism. Rioting and looting is OK if it's to stop racism.
Family- destroyed by public policy and feminism.
Church- destroyed by moral relativism and their own actions.
Govt- gone are statesmen giving back to society. Now we have career charlatan grifters enriching themselves and using the unlimited power of a bloated bureaucracy.

You're stupid of you think that guy is genuine.
But, I've watched humans get led around like livestock my whole life. I should have just accepted it by now, I suppose.

I love John MacArthur....he's a steadfast servant of the Lord and he tells me the things I don't want to hear.

You can think anything you like about Glenn, but he has really good guest and usually brings up really interesting topics.

His preaching is very biblically sound, and though I’m not Reformed, I enjoy his sermons.

Sure he's got his own hustle....but that doesn't make him wrong. And certainly doesn't make him wrong 100% of the time.

There's no doubt in my mind when the people in power are lacking a higher moral authority than their subjective morality you get what we have today. Nearly all the issues of corruption in our government, in our corporations, and even in our churches is due to man's inability or refusal to adhere to God's Word.

It’s like people putting down Hannity because he repulses them with his personality, and tendency to interrupt, so they miss out on real quests who should be heard.

What I like about Glenn’s guest is that many aren’t the mainstream ones you always hear on any other conservative platforms, and he lets them speak.

MacArthur is correct. God has provided direction for humans to live peaceably with one another and to minimize the results of our sin, yet there are concerted efforts to undermine what God has provided for our good, and these efforts always end in more suffering, not less.

If leaders don't believe in a higher authority they assume the role of higher authority- they think they can act as "God". And the greatest human catastrophes and boondoggles often come from this position. Think Hitler and Global Warming.

I usually catch John Mac’s sermons every week online. As the kids say, he has “zero F’s left to give,” he just tells you what the Bible says and you can get pissed if you want to.
His and Pastor Rob McCoy’s churches are standing up boldly against Gavin Newsom in California. McCoy was a city councilman (and also run for Congress I believe). He resigned from that position so that his fellow council members wouldn’t have to get involved in all this. McCoy’s church, Godspeak Calvary Chapel, announced late last week that they (like MacAurthur’s church) would be holdIng services on Sunday—thousands came from across the country to support them, either in the services or outside showing support. Now, Ventura County is looking to charge McCoy with Contempt if Court (hearing set for Friday).
