This is what I don't get. Why is he a Socialist ? He loves the 2nd amendment, is a self made wealthy man. He votes for someone who will take his guns and money. Is he just pandering ?

His new studio is so cheesy - imagine having unlimited funds and that being the environment you come up with.

I would chalk it up to putting it together in very little time. For some reason, he seemed to have an urgency to move to Texas once he decided he was going to do it. He said he was moved within 1 month of deciding to leave Cali - that includes buying a house, spotify stuff, building the studio. I'm sure it would look different had he spent more time on it. I don't really care all that much anyway.

This is where his self proclamation of being a moron comes in. I think he’s empathetic and believes a quasi-utopian solution is possible, but it’s not. He is self made, believes in guns and self protection, hunting, seems to be quite selfless in wanting to help people, but it’s just not all possible together. He’s also been quite against the rioting and authoritarian state and local ordinances during covid, but again this doesn’t align with supporting a socialist. He’s got too many competing interests/solutions.
