I remember the days when this use to be big news but now that the snowflakes have taken over front and center social programs, it's now just a yawn with the media and the left of center populace.

Even with Government shut down...imagine if Nancy Pelosi and Chucky hadn't played politics...this jobs report might have been even higher. 12" magic wands!

Did we ever find out if any of the Trump Towers had one of these on the Mall Level?

I love it!

But I have to temper my excitement a bit. The initial December jobs report a month ago was +312,000 and it was revised down to +222,000 this morning.

That begs the question WTF kind of system does the Labor Department have if there is a -90,000 (-29%) jobs error in their initial estimate?!?

Conversely, the final November jobs report was revised UPWARDS this morning from 176,000 up to 196,000.

For anyone paying attention, much of the stock market's drop in December was a result of the Chicken Littles bemoaning the "only" +176,000 new jobs created in November fearing the economy's growth was dying.

The 3 month average for new jobs comes in at 241,000 non-farm jobs created. As Les Miles might say, "That's damn strong!"

Interesting to see the statistical aberration of rising unemployment, juxtaposed with these numbers. Goes to show the games people were playing with obamanomics unemployment numbers.

It is.

Unemployed people who had given up on finding a job under Obama and thus were no longer counted as being unemployed are now starting to look for work again because employers are hiring again at a good rate.

That causes those workers to be included as "unemployed" again.

I look at these numbers like I look at polls. They can be made to reflect whatever the pollster wants them to.

Which begs the question, why is the fake news purposely pumping Trump? This board whines daily about how the media does everything in its power to take him down.

The OP is a good example of proving the snowflakes wrong.
