Bobby has handed out kinds of corporate welfare to anyone that will contribute to his pac--Bo Pilgrim, Chouest, Benson, film industry, digital media, Shaw with the sand berms ect, and his brother works for the firm representing BP and lobbies for the film industry. Don't forget the hundreds of millions in consulting contracts to his buddies. Certainly a lot of passing around of our money. (Let's not even ponder the state cost of his constant campaigning and his indifference to actually remaining in state while he is governor.)

Landrieu has her government paid campaign trips and her husband makes "commission" on sales and purchases of property by lobbyist. (When is commission a bribe I wonder?)

Vitter and his prostitutes. I wonder how many were bought by lobbyists??? Hard to guess.

In theory none of the three has broken the law but I think we all consider their acts corrupt.

Who is the most corrupt? Who has the biggest character flaws?

I wouldn't trust any of them.

But...I will say, at this point, at least Vitter doesn't get his people to try and paint a different narrative than what he is and/or what he's done.

Jindal's people created a false story within his first year regarding the Stelly Income Tax elimination, and Landrieu's people paint her as some pro-oil & gas champion while she endorsed Barack Obama in 2008.

Jindal has fallen so hard. That guy went from some GOP idealist with national aspirations to being a laughing stock in his state and an afterthought C-list politician nationally.

Anyone who's ready my posts here knows I'm not Jindal fan. I think he's a fraud.

However, the flights he takes to attend fundraisers, is he billing the taxpayers like Landrieu was?

I miss good old fashioned corrupt politicians. The ones with some style and panache to their thieving ways.

As Editor Paul Greenberg said a while back, the most insulting thing about the latest corruption scandal is that the Senator who had been caught was actually taking the bribe himself instead of having an underling handle anything so crass as actually receiving money.

I don't know if Jindal is "corrupt" but, to say he cares one bit about the state of Louisiana would be a bold-faced lie.

I don't know how you consider this instance corruption when he made amends to wife and God years before it became public. And when it became public Vitter did not deny the incident nor lied to his constituents to cover it up.

Then about Jindal... you may not like him or approve his tactics but hardly consider his job as Governor as corrupt.

Landrieu is the classic loyal democrat in a Southern state but tripped over that fine line with support of Obamacare and her ignoring her constituents leading up to her vote... I would not call it necessarily corrupt though.

Are we talking present day, recent past or going back like 10+ years ago?

Lol. You should get out more, Jindal is pretty well liked around the state. He'd win election for a 3rd term if he were running.

The only problem I have with Vitter's hooker habit is that he ran a "family values" platform. Otherwise, nbd. Congressmen, individually, have fewer chances to be "corrupt" I'd wager.

Landrieu is crucified on this board for being a Dem, and does have issues re: financing.

Jindal is an absolute fricking criminal.

I guess people on this site exagerate it a bit, but poll after poll that comes out has shown a steady drop in Jindal's approval ratings for a while now. It's ugly.

Das right. We need Kathleen Blanco back. And we need Edwin Edwards to run for Gov. And we need Ray Nagin to run for Gov. And any other Democrats that aren't in prison.

Funny thing is, it was Team Jindal who led the big push of CC through BESE.
