I am so disgusted with the Republican Party. They simply refuse to stand up for their own base.

If Jordan caves...there is no hope of honest redress. Maybe they have cut a deal with Social Media, to give them another chance. Frustrating any way you cut it.

If John Roberts can be compromised every time he does something you don’t like, why can’t Jim Jordan?

From the article:

quote:

The Jim Jordan Memo is clear. Zero antitrust action against Apple, Google, or Amazon will be supported by the GOP,

Umm. That’s not Jim Jordan’s call. That’s not even his call in the House.

Really quite fascinating that THIS is what popped up in your mind and you chose to articulate it. Shocked that you forgot to mention they were oiled down.

I don't see your concern here. I scanned the memo and didn't see any negative content from the Republican/conservative perspective. In fact, I though the following was admirable...

"Despite Republican requests, this hearing is still at the subcommittee level. Given the importance of this
hearing—and the unique opportunity to interact with these large technology companies’ CEOs all at
once—Ranking Member Jordan twice requested, on behalf of Republican Members who do not serve on
the Subcommittee, that Chairman Nadler convene the hearing at the full Committee.183 There are a
number of reasons for making this request, as elaborated to Chairman Nadler:"

I don't know the details but republicans can't do much about it right now. Can't get a bill about Big Tech anti-trust out of the house right now.

He might just be keeping his powder dry in case Republicans/Conservatives win back the House. I can't think of any other reason because he has been targeted by Facebook, Twitter, etc... many times. You know he must be pissed but can they actually do anything about it right now?

Every time Jim Jordan shreds the Democrats in Congress, you can bet that the next day the media will spread a hit piece on him. I'll wait for the facts to come out on this one; I trust Jordan more than Cernovich or the Media.
