Camelot was a myth, Jackie was thinking about a divorce. JFK made Bill Clinton look like a choir boy with his adultery. He was weak and careless with women, going out with women spies.
His nomination was fraudulent with his corrupt father. They stole election from Nixon.

Tell me how this is lunacy, by what I said. I know Catholics thought he was God.

I've mentioned it here before. But on one of those 60s shows that brought you into the homes of celebrities they followed Jackie giving a tour of the White House. She said 'And this is the Lincoln bedroom where my husband entertains his female friends.'
It could not be edited out because it was live.

So he was a human being? That's all you had to say.

My family and I watched the Jackie tour of the White House and either I didn't understand what she said or I didn't hear that.

The O.P. left out that Kennedy and his family aka advisors kept his serious medical problems hidden completely as we;; as the drugs he took to control the symptoms. Which made it doubly ironic when LBJ didn't run for a 'third' term because (among other things) men in his family died of heart problems (and LBJ did.)

I am NOT without sin, but JFK was a bad president. We damn near had a nuclear war because of his weakness. Soviets knew this. Everyone says he was a hero because of Cuban middle crises, but his waffling got us in it. It cost us to give up our missles in Turkey.

Perceived weakness.

Kennedy inherited a plan from the previous administration to invade Cuba and he wasn't a fan. The resultant Bay of Pigs fiasco really hurt his credibility and the Soviets tried to take advantage of this by putting nuclear missiles into Cuba. His response to this was far from weak. We came out of the Cuban Missile Crisis looking stronger than we did coming in.

Wrong. Not even a scintilla of evidence of that happening. Kennedy was elected fair and square, back at a time when honor and honesty still mattered.

He had a weakness for women, for sure, but his type tended to be American celebrities and Hollywood starlets. He would never have consorted with a Communist spy.

JFK's biggest mistake may have been to make it possible for federal employees to unionize.

Lunacy? What he posted seems spot on, although JFK would seem like Reagan as a Dem POTUS circa 2022 compared to what we have.

And don’t even start me on the election rigging. Mayor Daley admitted to it even. Lunacy my arse…The Dems have been cheating for years!

Did you see it in 1961? Anything you see today is edited. The original show was live. What you see now is the tape they made while shooting. The edited clip of her saying it is on the internet and I saw it about 10 years ago.

Probably better off looking to athletes as role models than politicians.

Say what you want about JFK, but at least he had standards...
And sense enough not to start a war with Russia.
