Don't these people believe in democracy?

Let the voters decide.

Why are these people so frightened of voters?

The press are the great defenders of democracy!

Let the people decide Trump's fate.

Gee, makes you wonder why are they so intent on preventing a Trump candidacy.

So, we are cool with insider trading, but taking the 5th is the line.

Good to know.

Leftists get to make all sorts of arbitrary rules that they're exempt from.

The hate has consumed her, to the exclusion of all else. If OMB died, she would instantly become an empty husk. The tunnel vision is skrong, and all-consuming with this one

Let’s just say Talcum X has more credibility speaking for the black point of view than Jennifer Rubin does speaking for the conservative point of view.

I must disagree with Ms. Rubin.

Exercising a Constitutional right should NEVER disqualify a person from seeking elective office.

On the other hand, there is nothing to prevent the electorate from considering that action when casting their votes, just as is the case with the negative inference in civil litigation.

So exercising a constitutional right should be grounds for disqualification.

Let's ignore that Trump said the same thing in 2016.

He did not. He said it means you are guilty. Not that you should be disqualified. Also, I’m sure trump regrets that statement now that he is aware that the fbi will lie to try and convict. I am amazed how y’all are falling for this again. It’s the fisa app pee pee dossier all over again. Are you so blinded by political affiliation to acknowledge that?

Can we also have a negative inference if a party to the litigation has lied and falsified info in the past?

It's like they don't even know a Constitution exists.

At least when it's convenient for them to not know it exists.

Using a constitionally protected right should disqualify yoiu from political office? It makes no sense on the face of it.
