I think what Slapeho is telling you is that if you wish for a better response from your threads. Then a clear title, maybe a quick summary, and/or a little information. This way the reader has more to go on than just a link. Opnening a thread and seeing a blind link, means many will just pass over your thread. I mean do it however you wish. But this way does not tend to get good responses is all I am saying.
