and stop whining about how horrible Sessions is every day? Either fire him or stop complaining about someone Trump put in office and who serves at Trump's pleasure. It is pretty well understood that Sessions is not going to quit.

Because you, your ilk, and the MSM would be nonstop complaining about how he fired Sessions to obstruct justice and end the Russian investigation. He's handcuffed on that issue at the moment and everyone with a functioning brain knows that. I hate when people play stupid and pretend they don't know something when they 100% know.

Fire Sessions and Rosenstein becomes acting attorney general until another AG nominee can be confirmed by the senate, which would be a big uphill battle before midterms considering the current makeup of the senate and razor thin GOP majority.
The optics of firing Rosenstein too would be bad because the MSM would spin it as Trump trying to stop the Russian collusion investigation by firing the guy who Mueller answers to. So Trump’s options are pretty limited to either Sessions or Rosenstein until after midterms and a new Congress is sworn in, hopefully with a little bigger majority in the senate to give Trump an easier path to having new nominees confirmed

Garnering public support and a trail of CYA failure notices so that when he does fire him and the MSM inevitably attacks him for something like Obstruction of justice or violating Session's human rights to never lose an appointed job he has ammo to fire back. It is also a good way to put some pressure on the Senate to approve his replacement.

There is a way to end all this. Order the release of ALL pertinent documents to the Congressional Committees, immediately and unredacted. Refusal to do so is an act of insubordination, and you know that Rod Rosenstein is going to refuse.
That is the man propping up Mueller. Sessions does not matter. Take out Rosenstein and you defang Mueller. Name a replacement that will get that pack of hyenas under control, and if Sessions resigns in protest so much the better, you get a two for one and RR will have given cover by doing it to himself.
