I am concerned that the Legislature has again called themselves into a month-long session with an agenda of 70 items. This session will occur at a time when the public will again be restricted in their access to the State Capitol and their ability to give needed public input.”

“Further, it is important to remember our work in containing COVID-19 is far from done, as Louisiana still has the highest number of per capita infections in the country. To abandon these efforts in defiance of the unanimous advice of the public health experts and the Trump administration would seriously jeopardize the lives of our people and the gains we have made.”

This response has been in line with the measures taken by our neighboring states.” Huh? Mississippi and Arkansas don’t have all his bs restrictions.

I guess he really is planning on ruining as many lives and businesses as possible.

LoL.
Even with all these wonderful draconian sanctions.

Quit playing political games.
Quit pretending Chinese flu is the still the primary reason for the continued lockdown.
Quit overlooking the collateral damage that has been done, which greatly overwhelms whatever actual threat wuflu may have presented.

We will face years of trying to overcome the economic and mental health damage that was done this year.

Do your job, governor. End this charade.

You gotta love that he's now citing historical stats since the recent stats (from the last 2 months or so) don't support any form of lockdown whatsoever.

No actual information supports lock downs. It never did and never does.

JBE.

Every single time I say Louisiana politicians can’t get any worse they prove me wrong. At this point I’m terrified to see what new depths of hell Latoya and Roberto’s successors bring us to

It was reported the legislature was meeting to see what we needed to do to pay the Feds back for all that unemployment money we borrowed and to address issues resulting from Laura mainly due to three parish school systems being destroyed.
I thought it was good planning. Jon Bel says no?

So then what are his plans? What does he intend to do to address these revenue and hurricane issues? Where a mask?

In these critical times where has Jon Bel been?
