Will formally do it later in the week, but says he will extend to at least 4/30.

Surprised he's not extending to July

By the second week of April people are going to start going to grocery stores, Lowes/Home Depot, and other essential businesses just to get out of the house. No way Louisianans stay home for a whole additional month.

People are definitely going to Lowes and Home Depot heavy. The yards in my neighborhood have never looked better.

latest bid was jun 10th so he needs to bid may 10th or maybe go for it and just say august of 2021 to be sure he is the most woke about over reacting

I don't know. I've been to walmart a couple times in the last two weeks and it's been a ghost town.

Where have you been?

I have yet to pass WalMart, Home Depot & Oak Point & their parking lots not full
People are buying flowers & plants, new grills, returning stuff...

People are going to start congregating outside of to go restaurants with a patio before much longer, saw it last week at drive thru daiquiri shop.

Well count me in the group of those being safe rather than sorry. I only go out right now when I have to. It may be getting over hyped in many areas but there's no reason to put myself and my family at risk.

Eff all that. It’s not hard to limit germ exposure while still going places.

take a look at the traffic cameras. There are still a good bit of people on the roads. Way down from normal. Maybe those are all essential workers or maybe people are finding excuses to still go out. I find this more of a suggestion rather than a strict order.

People still have to buy groceries, many older people shop every few days instead of once a week

One group is yelling to support local restaurants
Another is yelling stay at home
The rest of us are living our lives, social distancing & washing hands & using sanitizer

I don’t go out just to go out but if I want something I go get it

Just go around the horn until next King Cake season. I'm sure everyone in La. has a year worth of savings and food on hand.
