Both of these scenarios are wrong.

I hope you're wrong but I think he's correct.

Sorry,I just don't believe the "black support" narrative for Trump.I just don't see it with the blacks I interact with.

Then why apologize for it?

He meant it and everyone knows it

"it's not that big of a deal and won't last the weekend. The Trump campaign is pushing this cuz they know their party is in trouble and they're going to lose the election."

Carville's not wrong & here's why: The media is going to squash it. Take a look at this headline from the AJC

LINK
Biden says he was too 'cavalier' about black voters' choices

It is not on the front page of the AJC & the story has to be found under the politics section. The story is written in a way that defends Biden for saying it but goes after Trump for using it.

They throw a lot of shade to Biden to cover the quotes that speak negatively to him. It's the media's way of using passive words to describe the situation rather than the "powerful" or "bombshell" type words.

They covered it but not up front. They mentioned it, but to get the real gist of the story, the reader has to read instead of skim. This is typical passive media bias.

Still doesn't change the fact that certain blacks are defending what Biden said. In a few months,it'll be like it never happened. The bloc will not change, even with an obvious attempt to force them back according to their skin color.

I may not change votes but it damn sure will suppress black voting.

Blacks may not vote for Trump in large numbers but as a group, black females are easily slighted and take offense. Biden's quote will be played again and again before election day. It will lower the black turnout, which will help Trump.

No big deal ultimately to leftists? He’s right. But this should linger as another example that the left’s constant cries of racism should be taken with all the weight of an imaginary feather.

I hate it but the gaffe is out of context.

If you watch the whole thing you can see that most blacks would come away feeling good about Biden.

It is the same group that defended Jussie.

They a small, but vocal contingent of true believers. They aren’t just “social influencers,” they are social influencers with an emphasis on race.

The only question going forward is...
“How much influence do they actually wield?”

I suppose we will find out in November.
