I have a large, large family. My dad had ten brothers and sisters, my mom had nine. They all married, had kids as well. A lot of my Mom's side are old school Democrat's. I've been seeing a LOT of surprising post on Facebook lately. So far four of my Aunt's just on that side have been posting substantial amounts of pro American meme's, and seem very angry at the left side of the field.

My Father's side was more republican, but the women were more Democrat. Once again the old Democrat. Heavy Union supporters, big on the middle class. They are turning pro Trump as well. It seems this new constant pushing of shaming, victimization, and socialist push is really turning them more and more republican.

I mean I have been thoroughly surprised. I remember being at Thanksgiving three years ago and my Aunt's being insanely anti-Trump. Now they seem to be more and more on his side each passing month. This also includes my gay sister and her wife. They are for Trump now, despite disliking Pence.

Obviously my family is a very small selection of people to claim a shift in the tide...but some of them are life long Democrats, and they seem done with the party.

Anyone else seeing this happen as well with their families?

Much like the last Presidential election we will see the impact of those who were silent Trump supporters. There will be more vocal supporters this time around but there will still be the silent Trump supporters.

I have a friend who is a staunch liberal. He has rarely voted for any Republican (he's in his 60s). However, he told me that his company is doing so well due to Trump's moves for the economy that he'd be a fool to vote for anyone else.

My friends who were vocally anti-Trump are not pro-Trump but they stopped complaining about him a year ago. So that's progress.

I've noticed the Anti Flag movement has really hit them and made them angry too. They aren't anti USA, they love this country. They get every bit as angry at someone disrespecting the flag as Republican's do.

The progressive lefts views are absolutely not a winning platform for a national race. It seems like their community is much larger than it is because of their huge percent of their base being online and outraged 24/7.

I've said all my life that if a Democrat could ever be undressed you would actually see the definition of an empty suit.

Trump has done or at least attempted to do everything he campaigned on. No reason to lose any existing support. Plus a lot of people didn’t vote for him simply because of “fear of the unknown”. We were told the stock market would crash, he would start new wars and maybe nuke somebody...etc. Well obviously none of that stuff has happened so he is going to pick some of those voters.

On top of all that the Democrats are doing their best to push away moderate voters with their extreme leftist insanity.

Unless there is a major recession and stock market crash, Trump will win in an electoral landslide.

Anecdotal x 10,000,000 could very well be a thing.
