Because it never gets that hot there. Snow, on the other hand, is another thing.

Does it make any sense that it will, again, snow in places that it doesn't ever snow and still have no affect on what the climate is doing?

I could be getting trolled but im just trying to help you.

Expect this winter and the next couple of winters to be pretty cold. It has everything to do with the solar cycle. Earthly temperatures correlate quite well with solar activity as measured by sunspots. When that big nuclear fusion ball is quiet things tend to get cool here on earth and when she gets bitchy things tend to get warm.

I love all the conservative hysterics about the snow. I've lived in south Louisiana my entire life. It routinely drops below freezing several times a year. The reason why we don't get much snow is because precipitation doesn't always line up with those freezing temperatures. This time, we happened to have a storm system move through. Thus, snow.

It's really not that damned complicated

You know snow here isn't unheard of, right? This happened 9 years ago too.

How in the hell is this a conservative only phenomenon? Everyone is enjoying or otherwise freaking out about the snow. What a dumb way to look at it.

Oh you misunderstand me (which probably means I should have been more clear). I'm not talking about people freaking out about it snowing and going have fun in it. I'm talking about conservatives doing the tired "it's snowing lol global warming" bit
