Putin went to Crimea during Obama. Kept his head down during Trump and turned up a half dozen notches during Biden. Now Trump had a B-52 with escort jets buzzing overhead upon Putin’s arrival on American soil. Tell me again who’s strongmanning who ?

When the US quit sending planeloads of cash and equipment to the Ukraine, Europe said it will step up and cover the bills. France gave about $3.50, then said they were through. The others spent little time paying, and countless hours making speeches, requesting that the US continue to bankrupt itself.

First off, Ukraine is a European problem. Second, letting the murderer dictate how he will kill you is no bueno! Third, only way to end war is kill your enemy or sue for peace.
Ukraine should ask its European partners what will they do when Putin lobs a handful of low yield battlefield nukes? Will the mighty Brit’s and smug French unleash there nukes? Highly unlikely.
I don’t like Putin and it is up to the Ukrainians to decide their fate. Defeating Russia is an illusion unless you are willing to risk nuclear war.
I say let Britain, France, Germany supply weapons at THEIR expense. We, the United States need to keep our distance but be prepared.
I feel sorry for the Ukrainians and Russians being affected, but it’s not my fight.
