I've been saying this for a long time. Unoppressed white people trying to white knight for oppressed people is the root of most societal ills. They mean so well. They want to help everyone because they're guilty of their own lack of hardship. Because they don't understand oppression, because they don't understand the problems others go through, they often grasp at straws trying to help people. They focus on the wrong things.

For example, with the whole "Redskins" name debacle. There were far greater percentages of white people who were offended by the name than Native Americans. Progressive whites assumed "Redskins" was a pejorative, like the "n" word, but it's not. In fact, among natives, "Redskin" is a term of pride and endearment. The name was even coined by native American players on the team!

They don't understand the plight in poor communities, so they focus on fixing the wrong things. They get duped by the people exploiting those communities for profit like the race pimps, the scam preachers, the gangbangers, the convenience stores that rely on government assistance dollars, the teachers unions, etc. They don't realize that they are hurting the people that need help and helping the people doing the hurting.

If everyone would just start looking out for being offended for themselves rather than rushing to the defense of others, who may not even want or need defending, our world would be a lot better off.

I've been telling people this for years.

They are the biggest threat to our republic.
