Meanwhile if this was a “it’s 120 degrees outside” like it was this summer in Cali all of you would post oh no’z gifs and litter the thread with “it’s hot in the summer, I’m shocked”.

The furnace for my man cave and main floor of my house isn’t lighting. Wife and I have to stay in the bedroom. Could be worse.

Clear, calm, cold day here, which means we lost power. Entergy said they'd have it back on by 10. If we're lucky, it'll be back on by 2. Might be a lil late with the greens, black-eyed peas & ham.

Happy New Year, y'all.

Your energy bill is higher in summer than in winter

AU has to play this morning at fricking 11. I guess they're lucky to be inside because I am sure it's cold AF in Hotlanta.

Olddawg is triggered as frick in these threads. Standard procedure is for him to complain about upvotes/downvotes next and then complaining about “the board” as if it’s a monolithic group he isn’t a part of

In northern Missouri it is not. People often like it 70ish in the house. Summer it gets up to 90-100 most of the time, a 20-30 change. Winter it often gets around 20-40, a 30-50 change. Right now it is -13. A 83 degree difference. I can tell you, in summer there is never an 83 degree difference from the normal temperature.

Nevermind. I just saw your participation in another thread, with posters poking fun at global warming.
I think this thread is just folks commenting on how cold it is. This week is the coldest stretch of weather in SW Alabama in a looong time. Stay warm, olddawg.
