Most Bible scholars will agree that this is a prophecy (Isa. 54:15) in connection with the repatriated nation of Israel, surrounded by their enemies. And obviously God is promising to protect them.

Now AS YOU KNOW, that nation was rejected by God and ultimately destroyed by Babylonian invaders in 607 B.C.E. They ultimately were rejected because they did not keep God’s standards.

So my question to you is this: if this is a prophetic drama, if this is a type vs. an anti-type...where does the modern U S of A fit in? And how da hell does Nancy Pelosi figure into a prophecy that involves nations, and individual persons???

I assume you meant to say "Not individual persons." Imo, the effect of God's promises span both time and original purpose. In other words, it's the concept that counts. I've had certain scriptures figuratively jump off the page as I've read them. Joel 2:25 and Psalm 23:5 being a couple of the more intense experiences.

We shall see. I personally wish the evil curmudgeon no harm, and God will deal with her as he sees fit. However (and I didn't mention this in the OP because I thought it would be viewed as a bridge too far), I've had some (unwanted) dreams about that woman lately, and I honestly believe that she's headed for a fall. SOON.
