Is Zuckerberg going to prison?

And other high up Meta officials?
I know I’m late to the game on this but for the first time I’m able to listen to the testimony of Meta whistleblower Sarah Lynn-Williams before Congress.
HOLY shite! You know it’s bad when Zuckerberg doesn’t have a defender on either side of the political aisle. And if the shite she is saying true, he’s probably guilty of treason and clearly lied to Congress which is a federal offense.
Zuck might want to hole up in his bunker and never come out.

Only matters if you are to the right of Stalin on the political spectrum.
Everyone else gets away with it.

I will be surprised if anything happens to Zuckerberg, or any of these anti-Americans. Half the country supports them, and the judges have their backs.

"The trial will be run and decided by Judge James Boasberg".... Gee what are the chances??

Or for a Cliff Notes version…..

No. He’s wealthy enough to stay out of prison. He may vanish one day as a “celebrity face” though.

Surprised Zuck didn’t call Hillary for very effective guidance.

When nothing is done, it makes it far tougher for other whistleblowers to come forward. They will wreck their own lives for the greater good, yet no one throws them a lifeline.
Our govt sucks.

He needs to. But sadly money talks over morals and law.

Not a frigging word about this on US News networks!
Not
One
Word.
E.g., Meta has come up plenty on CNBC in tariff discussions or regarding its antitrust case. Not 1/10th of a second on this topic.

How much did he donate to Trump? That will determine his fate.

They lied to Congress. Of that, there's no doubt. And it wasn't an insignificant lie either.

This tells you Zuck isn’t facing jail, or any other serious consequences.

Lot of folks immediately said this was why he started kissing arse to Trump, and went on Rogan trashing the Biden admin.

Essentially, anything anyone from FB/Meta has ever stated to Congress about their dealings with China was a lie (and she brought receipts). Zuck has been so busy building an $18B business in China that he's learned Mandarin even while wrapping Old Glory around himself and proclaiming that he's a promoter of free speech.
Communications between anyone in the US and China are being hosted on China-based servers, possibly giving the CCP direct access to US user data.
Facebook traffic from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan go through a Chief Editor. Once things which the CCP doesn't like (stories, a meme, comments, whatever) reaches a certain number of likes or shares, it goes to the Chief Editor who can then shut it down. They can do this for even geographical areas and take special notice of certain holidays (like the anniversary of Tienanmen Square).
Chief Editor can do anything from tweak data to shut all of FB down anywhere in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. This is a system designed for, and with specific input from, the CCP and is so in depth that it required new TOS pushes (which buried it deep in the lawyer language).
Meta purposely targets 13-17yr olds and their emotional states, especially those feeling down or in emotional distress (worthless, like a failure, etc) as proven by their posts, actions and/or communications and specifically send that information to advertisers. For example, if a 15yr old girl deletes a selfie the system believes she's doing that because she feels "ugly" in some way. This action then triggers FB to send her data to makeup companies so she can be targeted by their advertising (think: pushing Ozempic ads to 13yr olds because they still show some baby fat). Zuck and other "C-suite" execs actively vetoed ideas which sought to protect user data, especially the 13-17yr old group as they consider that group to be the most vulnerable thus the most easily manipulated.
FB/Meta is so desirous of silencing this woman that they have threatened to try to have her fined $50k for any time she uses the word "Facebook" (and possible "Meta") and tried to threaten her to the point where she would not testify before Congress.
quote:
Sarah Wynn-Williams: Maybe it's helpful if I read what they told me Please do Um they said the purpose of sorry they said if the respondent well if me if I were permitted to communicate with legislators that's you uh s such actions would create an exception to non-disparagement that it would eat the rule in such circumstance nothing would limit or prevent those legislators or their aids from paring to the public any disparaging statements and and I just want to pause here because a disparaging statement is a true statement
So it it's telling you the truth respondent is barred from disclosing
So they were very clear that even um coming to speak to you about the truth and about the concerns of national security and protecting our children and and sharing these truths with you Uh that would have not only $50,000 for each truth or statement actual damages for breach of confidentiality actual and punitive damages for fraud and other claims
Blumenthal: So let me just be clear Uh in effect they are warning you against what we might say publicly based on your comments to us. Even though they might not hold you or bar you from coming here
Sarah Wynn-Williams: They have said that is a potential consequence. That is that is the order they have secured
Blumenthal: that in effect you'd be held responsible for what we might say as a result of your truthful testimony
Sarah Wynn-Williams: Not just you Senators, something your aid might say I mean they they they frame it as something your aid might parrot
Blumenthal: In other words what what these folks in back of us might say as well as what we might say even though it's factual and true
To go with this, Meta exercised an arbitration process with her but purposely notified her only through an email address they knew was defunct so that neither she nor her legal team were notified of the arbitration and thus did not show up for it.
