What did the latest election in Virginia, Kentucky and Mississippi tell us?
Especially If GOP lose LA governor race.

My concern is that young people, who don’t usually vote, and are mostly socialists, will flock to the voting booths en mass in 2020.
Media doing its work.

No. Didn't Tate Reeves beat Jim Hood?

Why not mention Arkansas while you're at it. You do know what happened here, no?

they are, and they may.

Just my 2 cents, He could be in trouble with impeachment, but maybe not with re-election. Dems don’t have a good candidate at all. Biden should’ve run last time. Warren is likable but too radical.

Tough call.
ETA: y’all realize that just because the slightly tilted right poliboard doesn’t like her, that doesn’t equal the entire voting populace?

This board never changes.

What happened in Kentucky?

The Republican Governor gained 20 points in a week thanks to Trump and as of now still hasn’t lost.

What happened in Mississippi?

I hope not but I think he is. I find it hard to believe he gets every state he got last time and I find it even harder to believe he flips a state or two. It’s going to be difficult.

Can you fill us in on the other election results from those exact states. Say Kentucky for example? Did the down the ballot Dems win all of those races as well? Or did Republicans gain seats but voters just didn’t like Bevin? Be specific

KY governor was down bigly before Trump came in and every other election in KY went R. Bevin was hated among his own party and had a Libertarian candidate in the mix. MS Rs won big. Virginia went as expected.

Virginia redrew districts to be much more favorable to democrats, did they not?

Kentucky... every single statewide office except for Governor went Republican, did it not?

Mississippi... Tate Reeves won?

I'm not sure what your point is.

local/state elections do not always correlate to national elections.

LA governors race will not correlate to 2020. Louisiana will go Trump regardless of governorship. however, with 2020 census and redistricting, getting an R in the state house is key to gerrymandering tactics

Likability is a huge hot button issue with female candidates right now. Hillary wasn’t likable. Warren polls very favorably with that.

I realize not on this board, but like in the actual world.

Yeah. That is funny to expect this board to think about that stuff.
