Is Trump bluffing about sending the military to the border?

I sure hope not. Logistically, how would be the best way to do this? That's a long border to defend. Airdrop the 82nd and 101st and send in the armor from Fort Hood? And shoot to kill when the invaders attempt to cross? Is this going to be the climax to the illegal immigration crisis? At what point does this illegal immigration become an invasion? 500 people? 5000 people? 50000 people? We're fixing to find out, I do believe.

My guess is they are sent to points of entry. Not actually lined up along the entire border, which your thread seems to imply.

They will erect some sort of barrier so there will not be a military confrontation. If they make it at all, since they are all having problems with stamina. I think few, if any, will make it all the way.

Keeping track of the caravan shouldn't be that hard and deploying troops wherever they are heading in advance of that rabble shouldn't be a problem.

You know, 480...same reason we can't stop paying for poor people's Iphones or ADHD Disability Subsidies. Once people are 'in'...it's hard to take it away.
And even so, if the honest and hard-working people in those groups prove their metal, and become responsible and PRODUCTIVE *citizens*, I welcome it. If they are coming to Anchor a baby and lay up on Welfare...over they go.
