Seems odd they were so confident attacks were coming. Yet can’t figure out how many Americans are in Afghanistan.

Yeah I was reading this morning about intelligence reports of a possible "imminent" attack. Then a couple hours later, saw the attack on the news.

Possibly. My thought is the warning is being made because there is word ISIS/Taliban are going to try to attack HKIA and turn it into a bigger freaking mess. Like Blackhawk Down times 50.

But in an effort to answer your unrelated question so I'm not painted out to be dodging it, I feel fine. The situation over there sucks right now, but my one vote in Louisiana did not contribute to it. Hopefully the Biden Admin gets it cleaned up soon.
