Is this the new “presidential” Donald Trump?
Posted by GumboPot on 2/7/19 at 9:40 pm3310
I vaguely remember during an one on one interview with a reporter during the GOP primaries the reporter asked Donald something to the effect, “can you be more presidential?” And in typical DJT fashion he responded, “believe me, there is a time and place to be presidential. I can be the most presidential president ever. When the time is right.”
Have we entered the “presidential” phase?

Modern day presidential. Very stable genius. He's like, really smart.

He’s redefining presidential.

Personally I thought it was when he took care of the threat with North Korea and started bringing American jobs back. Are you wanting a celebrity or a leader?

If he behaved well for the next 2 years he would comfortably win reelection IMO.
The other stuff is fun to us but it's not worth losing the House over or the 2020 elections.

I’ve been praying for this since the election. Trump isn’t capable of this and one great speech doesn’t change a thing.
If he proves me wrong I will happily eat crow.

I have noticed his twitter account has been subdued lately. Bunch of boilerplate feel good language, retweeting of videos, etc.

He has to figure out a way to get those suburban white women back to the polls. They like security and they like the testosterone. But it has to be testosterone with soft edges. The security part IDK yet.

Now is the time DJT needs to act "presidential" in all the liberal socialist bullsh@t going on. He will have the appearance of stability for the nation in the midst of a Democratic sh@tstorm.
Have we reached the presidential phase because Trump can read a speech written by Stephen Miller off a teleprompter.
Maybe you didn't read that at a private lunch for television anchors earlier in the day of the SOTU, Trump referred to Joe Biden as “dumb” and called Chuck Schumer a “nasty son of a bitch.”
Unfortunately for him, Trump has a dificult time acting presidential when he is speaking his own words.
