I've never been opposed to US military interventions in the Middle East. I'm opposed to ridiculous ROE that limits US forces abilities to complete missions

Yes. Get OUT of Afghanistan for starters. I have stated in other posts what should have been done back in 2001.
Get OUT of Iraq. Syria too. I have no issue with arming the hell out of the Kurds, eff the Turks and all the rest over there. All our people on the ground are anymore are targets.
I have no issue with our presence in places that actually want us, such as Kuwait and Jordan. I also believe we should cultivate a stronger relationship with India, eff the Paks they are no friend.
Anyone striking at our people should get that the good general and his friends got, many times over. They should be taught that to go after Americans is not worth the cost.

You can support not having standing armies in the ME without being opposed to military responses to unprovoked attacks.
Nice try at your gotcha though.

I am 100 percent in favor of pulling everything out, military, diplomatic, etc. Just cut them off, we don't need their oil anymore.
But, that's hard to do, especially now. We were there too long, which caused them to rush the embassy, so we have to respond, and the are going to respond, etc.
My concern is that we didn't leave when we had the chance, and now the window is closed.

You have been absolutely precious since the missile attack.
Your misunderstanding of the Middle East is amazing.

understand not everyone was in favor, but I'd say a majority of this board was.
Is this what you consider a 'gotcha' because we just killed an a-hole terrorist who was killing Americans?

Still in favor. Quit being in places where we aren’t wanted and are being targeted. Use precision strikes only when necessary.
Or, just wreck their shite when they get froggy. These people understand force, and little else. If they have to pay an unimaginable price every time they frick up, pretty soon they stop fricking up. We aren't going to abandon the middle east, and friendly ME countries. We just need to keep troops to a minimum, and maintain the ability to wreck shop when the need arises. All it takes is a president with a set of balls.
