Is there any kind of way for Franken to pull his chestnuts out of the fire?

Or have things snowballed out of control and he has to resign today?
(As of this morning, 32 of the 48 Democrat Senators have called for his resignation)

No, he's lost support of his Dem colleagues in the Senate. His political career is done.

He gone.
And it’s more like 32/46 since you wouldn’t include Franken or Conyers.

He isn't that good of a politician to pull this off. Only someone of Slick Willie's skill set could pull this off.

Frankens only real option is to try and get a job as a writer for Chelsea Handlers Show.
Oh wait. That show has been canceled as well.

Probably not. What the Dim leftists are doing is so obvious, they’re throwing some of their own under the proverbial bus so they can claim the moral high ground.
The leftist are suddenly all concerned about powerful men sexually abusing women so all their Hollywood darlings, Franken and even the 1st black president “Slick” have to be severely excoriated so the Dims can say “We don’t tolerate sexual misconduct in our ideology”.

How can dimocratix still support the CBC after that embarrassing stunt yesterday?

No. He's of no value to the Dems...only a liability since their only shot at Trump is fast becoming the 'abuse women' angle and Franken will be replaced with another Prog anyway.

In a few short hours he'll be Former Senator Ah'll Yank'em.

"I am a woman trapped in a man's body. I am transgendering. I only grabbed those tits in order to understand how they are supposed to feel and to determine the size I should be when I transition. Please, respect my decision as a woman to remain in the office as I think it is important for all women to see a woman in this office!"

I hate Franken but this is the pot calling the kettle black.

I met Al Franken in 2004 and he was a prick. Was not shocked at all by this.

Sure he can with a wink and a nod from Chuck. Franken announces he will leave the Democrat Party and put an I behind his name.
The Dems can claim we ousted him but what can we do? He keeps his seat which he is desperate to do and he would still vote lockstep with the Dems.

I don't get the oart of just quitting. I would stay, period. They can't make him quit. Nothing gets better, so why quit. Trust me, in a month they would be lined up outside his office door begging for his vote on a bill.
