Is there a new "Great Awakening" upon us?

Just an observation, I have been getting a lot of vibes from people, that they need God in their lives more than ever. Had a friend, who is not religious at all, just talk about how he is looking for a church for his family and has started praying and reading the Bible.

People are preparing for the future . This world is falling apart . Democrats are destroying it as fast as Possible. I think it helps that democrats are such nasty brainwashed people that everyone wants to make sure they don’t spend eternity with them .

This has shined a light on how bad we as Christians have failed. It is us that has let God down not non believers!

I don’t know, but I’ll share an anecdotal story with you.
I was in church last Sunday, and one of the guest was a friend of the pastor who is now a member of a church in Tennessee.
He told a story about how 3 men in that church started praying for lost souls in the community each morning.
One week before the church was scheduled to shut down for a month because of Covid, 100 people showed up to the service to be Baptized.
In 12 weeks, they have baptized 800 souls.
The man who has been an evangelist himself all his life, said he’s never personally experienced a move of God this strong, and it’s ongoing.

It's like the old warfare/front line saying..."there are no Atheists in a foxhole". When people realize that their chances of dying are likely...they go to the only (psychological) consolation that exists.
I've long believed that the 'AntiChrist' will come out of a 'Christian' demographic base; perhaps even meaning well (as opposed to a calculated fake), and will turn bad because most people are weak and can't cut it when the going really gets tough.
Changing fast; we'll know soon enough.

It's interesting.
Back fifteen years ago, I used to laugh at the fundies or Christian fundamentalists. Many believed in a young earth. We just didn't see eye to eye.
Now the democrats really have gone far too the left. And truth be told they are wound so tight, they are just miserable people. Since they are miserable, they are not fun to be around. And whereas maybe some on the right believe in a young earth, they don't believe in the whole critical race theory, censorship, taxation of everything, a nanny state, etc.
So people who used to avoid the right suddenly are looking for them because the religious people won't scream at them for not hating themselves if they are white.

God exists.
However, currently and according to our limited ability to understand, it would appear that God has better things to do than to root out the utter ignorance of our electorate and its corrupt and defiled government...

I would disagree. We are approaching a Romans 1 scenario. The longer we wait to repent, the worse things are going to get. The steps are pretty clearly laid out and things are progressing as described.

I can say personally I have prayed more often and more consistently than I ever have. I truly feel we are in dark times and really hard times are right around the bend. I worry constantly for my kids and loved ones.

My family and I have scripture study with 5 other families every other Saturday night. All of the dads are best friends since elementary school. It started with me and one other dad and our families about 5 months ago. The other 3 were not unbelievers but just never went to church or studied Yahweh’s word growing up or in their adult lives. Two of them joined us on the 2 session and the other about a month ago. We are slow walking ACTs right now and cover about 3 chapters each time we meet. Following all references to the OT to have all context to understand what is being described. We have 2 more families that are planning to join this Saturday. These are all parents who have had a “feeling” come on them at about the same time but needed to be invited to join in with a group like ours. We simply call our group discussions “The Way” because that is what obedience to Yahweh was called in the OT and by the early Christians in ACTs.
Most of the teens age 15 and up join the 1 hour session and ask questions as much as the adults. The younger kids run around the yards or play in the basements. The host family provides a lot of food and appetizers to munch on. After we are done discussing the scriptures, we just hang out until about midnight and socialize. Even have a couple of. beers.
But yes, there is a stealthy revival gaining momentum in our nation.

do the evangelicals call biblical things the great awakening? the great awakening sounds like the great reset. then the catholics will fight with evangelicals because the catholics have a prophecy about a warning, a cross in the sky--- that your soul will be judged and all will fall to their knees. the evangelicals call this kinda their rapture.
more division ahead it seems. but the great awakening having all the worlds evil jailed was presented as bunk that applies religion and the great reset.
we can all agree that something is happening spiritually; but it is not called the great awakening to all... as some presented it as a global financial reset of the gold standard and everything is peachy.
some who had no faith then did with this awakening as presented with UFO's and new agey stuff with all the worlds evil locked up.... could be deceived. even the elect (could be all of us) will be deceived.
if a prophet predicted 'the warning' in the catholic world and it happens with a cross in the sky and all on their knees seeing their soul. will evangelicals say it is HAARP deception?
will mars attacks, or peaceful UFO's be deployed as deception? the anti-christ will fool many. we know this Pope is an antiPope. but if the Roman Catholic Church is not the true Church of Peter. why is the devil attacking it full frontal?
if your next thought is catholic bashing, do you not see the televangelists and online prophets that say God talks to them with pure political fantasy as fakes? can their be common ground in between all Christians?
are the preachers living wealthy like the Pope in mansions that beg for seed money fakes? did Christ intend a Pope to be wealthy with a Pope mobile?
for the atheists. good and evil exist. the devils greatest deception is convincing us he does not exist.

I believe in the end times, churches will revert to home churches because persecution will force them underground.
