Is the Virus Trumps fault?

I don’t think it is. Since we have states rights and each state chooses how they tackle it. But the media will blame him.
Posted on 8/2/20 at 11:54 am to Tigahhs97
Yes, he engineered it himself.

The flu has been around much longer than Trump. Not his fault at all
Posted on 8/2/20 at 11:55 am to Tigahhs97
Indirectly it’s his fault. He got elected. He put America first. The Chinese didn’t like it. So here we are.

Of course. Everything bad is Trump’s fault because OMB

Are you suggesting Trump fixed the economy just so he could fork with us by later releasing the virus to destroy the economy?

Insofar as he got elected, thus driving the left so batshit crazy that they thought to try to capitalize on the virus to win the next election, yes.

Here’s my two questions if someone could help provide an answer because I haven’t thought too deeply about it: 1. Was deferring to states’ rights the best alternative given the circumstances? I believe it was, but don’t really have anything to support it other than the few states which have had it the worst are primarily seeing epicenters in large cities and not so much in rural and suburban areas. 2. How different would the outcome have been had Trump not deferred to states’ rights? I don’t believe there would be much difference as far as the media’s portrayal of his decision is concerned, but maybe a more strict lock down in the beginning would have yielded better results in terms of limiting the spread.

Is the virus anybody’s fault? It’s a strange question to even ask

Whomever signed off on selling the covid to China is at fault.

Whoever that Chinaman was who forgot to put the damn lid back on the petri dish, also left the door to the lab open and a cat ran in, knocked it off the counter onto the floor next to a wide open box fan.
Cat was running away from the guy down the street at the wet market btw.

No. Personally there's a reason I would call it the China virus (since it originated there).
But, he was being hammered as racist for trying to do the travel ban from China to the US early on. Each state could have acted and closed things down but it's easier to blame someone else for things.

Of course it isn’t.
It’s the people who allowed and encouraged China to do the type of risky testing they were doing that let the genie out of the bottle.
There were lots of physicians against these types of experiments and having China doing them. Unsurprisingly, Fauci was knee deep in all of it.

Take out the deaths from the 5 democrat run states who forced positive ChinaFlu patients back into nursing homes, lead by NY and NJ, the US death total looks very different

A constant meme by the deplorable and despicable left wing media is there was ample warning of the coming pandemic by the latter part of 2019 and Trump was too slow to respond which has caused many preventable CV 19 infections and deaths. What if Trump had acted as these leftists sycophants insist he should have.
Based upon the predictions of a group of federal health scientists who warned of a coming pandemic from China He could have issued an executive order effective January 15, 2020 :
No events with crowds over 50 people are to be held: No national championship game, no NFL playoffs, no Super Bowl, college basketball season suspended, NBA and NHL seasons suspended,
Mardi Gras is cancelled.
No MLK events honoring Dr. King and Black History Month is not celebrated.
Colleges may not begin spring semester classes, all high school and lower grades cannot open, only essential business as determined by the federal government may operative.
The Defense Deployment Act is activated and Trump requires random businesses to suspend their usual production and make ventilators and face masks for the coming pandemic.
Effective January 15 all flights from foreign countries are suspended. Any Americans seeking to return to the United States must make arrangements by January 15.
Impeachment hearings against him could not be held a Congress could not convene.
The Supreme Court and all federal courts must suspend proceedings by January 15.
Multiple litigation would have been filed in anti Trump venues which demanded injunctions to stop this unprecedented power grab by a United States president
The left wing media would have gone into total meltdown. Trump would have been called :
A dictator.
An isolationist
A nationalist
A racist
A xenophobe
An obstructionist of justice
Even some of his strongest supporters would have turned on him.
Today the media would be excoriating him for over reacting to the pandemic which never occurred.
They would be lambasting him for the huge stockpile of unused ventilators and face masks., while praising Obama for having the fiscal responsibility to not over react and build up such an absurd amount of supplies.
