Is the left just a litigious bunch?

So a lady I know (hard left Democrat, Jew, white, early 60's, worked in the HOU DA's office as a prosecutor for many years and retired from them) has decided that you should be able to bring your "service dogs" wherever the frick you want - into the movies, into fine dining restaurants and most importantly, into every hotel if you're traveling.
So what is she doing? She's started calling various hotel chains in between Houston and TTown and TTown to Boston and when they say "nope, sorry ma'am, we do not allow dogs" she has added those into her "list" for an eventual suit.
What we laymen don't realize is that everyone and their freaking dog can claim "service dog status" as there are few checks and balances to make sure you actually need one. So naturally, with preferential treatment, the system gets taken advantage of by miserable fricks who hate life.

I can't imagine a bigger nanny stater than a hard left-wing Jewish woman. The stereotype exists for a reason.

Yes, they are.
The law is just an extension of politics for them and has been institutionalized as such in areas such as environmental law, where the EPA gets groups to sue them over policies and then they have a consent decree forcing permanent policy changes.

Yes...because if you don't think like they do (irrational) and believe like they do, they want to force you to have to do what it is that they want...

It's brutal AF and would love to give the board the backstory but I'd be outted with the quickness, but rest assured this is the type of wretched woman who makes life in America tough for the rest of us because they legit believe we should bow to their every whim.

The left is very good at using power in whatever form they happen to control it. As of today, that power is concentrated in education, the media, the courts, and corporate c suites...all authoritarian nondemocratic institutions.
That having been said, if she doesn’t specify service dogs when she calls, it’s reasonable to assume that whoever answers the phone is assuming she is asking if she can bring a pet.
That having been said, the proliferation of irrational pet policies in corporate America is part of what is driving the service dog industry. I’ve called hotels before when traveling and they want to charge more or as much in pet fees as they do for a room.

Well they vote democrat, and give to democrats. That is due to trying to stop tort reform though. Outside of that, I don't think they have a unified set of political beliefs that couldn't be explained by other demographic trends (urban, religious affiliation, education level).

She probably means "comfort animal" or "emotional support dog", and being a bitch about it because those are not legit service dogs.

Not sure why you have quotes around service dog, but I'm fairly sure you can bring a service dog wherever the frick you want.
