Gotta lotta catholic family members that say yes.

Should Plan B be outlawed in your state?

Any responsible female that doesn’t want to be pregnant and is sexually active will take the necessary precautions beforehand to avoid the risk of pregnancy.

Hell you can even get Plan B delivered to your doorstep via these mobile delivery platforms like doordash from a CVS

I'm pro-life but I don't think Plan B is abortion. It prevents fertilization or implantation of the egg in the uterus. It's a contraceptive, not an abortifacient.

Since it basically becomes useless if you wait after 5 days....I agree with this.

Isn’t Biden catholic? Is day after worse than late term?

Biden says he's Catholic. He actions have proven otherwise. He might wear the label, but he wears it like Liz Chaney wears "Republican".

No, it’s not an abortion pill. It stops or delays ovulation. That’s it.

Women who do not want to get pregnant and have a baby but practice unsafe sex during ovulation should use emergency contraception or the day-after pill (misnomer— they can take the pill immediately after sex; the sooner the better) with its 89-96% effectiveness.

It doesn't necessarily stop fertilization.

Of course it’s abortion. And no, we should not try to outlaw it.

Here is the deal, and you anti-abortion extremists better learn this: We can outlaw abortions after 15 weeks, maybe even 12, but if we try to go father than that we will be slaughtered at the polls. This is a winning issue at 30 weeks, a losing issue at six weeks, and breaks even somewhere in between.

A state, such as Texas, can pass bans at 6 weeks, and it could work in Texas, but it will be used against us all over the country. This is true for the democrats as well. Allowing late term abortions might work in California, but the savagery of it will hurt them throughout most of the rest of the USA.

How big is a baby at six weeks? I’m not debating that a heartbeat does not equal life. I’m just curious how many people here know.

It’s the same as birth control pills. They both are abortion.

Once a sperm and egg meet, the zygote (baby) is formed.

Abortion, plan b, and birth control pills all do the same thing

Not every sexual encounter results in a pregnancy. Plan B is not Abortion. Couples try for years to conceive sometimes.

I’m a little shaky on my knowledge of this pill. Ignorant actually.

Preventing fertilization implies the seed and egg are somehow kept apart. Contraception.

Preventing a fertilized egg from implanting in the uterine wall sails closer to the shoals of an abortifacient.

Is this the case? Which approach does the morning after pill actually take?

We didn’t hear our first son’s heartbeat until 8wks or so - our decision would have been locked in before we even knew he had life- this is why a 6wks ban is not practical -

And the significance of that? Why have you picked one organ - and not the most significant one - to judge when life starts? Why not the brain, for example?
