I just came across this story which is a couple months old now.

ABC

Sheriff says no foul play. One clue they have is a deer camera that caught the dude in the woods with his shirt off and a stick in his hand. He looked to be on the run.

He texted his mother and said his boss at work wanted him dead and had sent 3 truckloads of white males after him. He also told his mom he had been to the Police station twice to ask for help.

His body was found, but it was only bones. The top of his skull looks to have been sawed off, but the medical examiner said cause of death couldn't be determined. Sheriff still maintains no foul play, but has called in the MBI and FBI to assist.

Whole case is weird.

Sounds like he pissed someone off.

Probably should have quit that job.

Absolutely investigate this thoroughly.

But there is a 99.99999978% chance this man was NOT killed due to the color of his skin.

His actions maybe, but not the color of his skin.

Sounds more like a paranoid psychotic break. Dies in the woods and the elements take care of the rest.

I think this is a good theory. Him being out in the woods like Rambo in First Blood sorta lends credence to it. I mean if I were on the run from 6-8 dudes who wanted me dead, that's not how I would act. I would simply leave town.

The family is claiming he was decapitated, but the Medical Examiner never said that. He only said his bones were scattered by animals.

If I was planning on killing one of my employees I wouldn't send 3 truckloads of men. That's a very high percentage of someone snitching unless this dude was actually employed by a Mexican cartel, but it still wouldn't be race related.

Scroll down and look at the skull. That's not a death from natural causes, nor could it be a self inflicted wound.

The woodland critters sawed the top of his skull off in a straight line?

My first thought as well…. But the skull being clean cut across is odd.

Mighty smooth cut on the skull. Not sure what element that resides in the woods is capable of such a smooth cut.

How does that racist attorney show up at every one of these things?

That's my one question as well. They'd probably need a forensic anthropologist to take a look at it. Weird things happen out in the elements and it might be possible that an animal could do it.

Also you must ask yourself what would be the point in cutting the top of his skull off? It helps none in hiding the body. Cutting off the head would make sense, but not the top of the skull.

Also, it doesn't appear they made any effort to hide or bury the body. From what I understand the bones were found lying out in the open. So if that's true, what would be the point in dismembering the body in the first place?

Are we sure that’s not from the autopsy or medical examiner? Nothing in the article makes any claim about the skull being sawed in two. Everything it says just says the head was found separate from the spinal cord.

That is such a major issue, that if it was actually found like that, it would have to be addressed somewhere by some authority, sheriff, ME, etc.

That looks like the result of a standard autopsy procedure to examine the brain. I didn’t see anywhere in the article where it said they found him with the top of his skull missing. I didn’t peruse the article so maybe I missed it.

Medical examiners make cuts to the skill just like that when they have a recently deceased body and want to examine the brain. However, this guy's body was only found after it was already a skeleton, so I do not know why the ME would make such a cut at that point. I am not a medical examiner, so I can't say for sure.
