Best of luck to them
New Orleans hasn't struggled because of lack of democratic leadership though. They need more opportunity other than tourism there.

Economics requires safe and healthy communities, skilled/educated and enthusiastic workers and the Regulatory conditions for such to prosper.
An Authoritarian takeover of the Schools will be required to establish this. Given the current PC/Progressive/SJW wave...this won't happen. Other than in isolated Communities where people are able to abandon/mitigate the Cultural rot that degrades Public Education.
