The US is out of control. When a guy like Biden is obviously going to pack SCOTUS and people like Pelosi are using impeachment as a political weapon and the liberals are shamelessly gaming the election system not to mention how companies like Facebook, Google and the major news organizations are controlling, manipulating and evening surprising the free exchange of ideas tells me it's time for the States to call for a convention to reestablish who is actually in control.

Bingo!

Their first plan was to turn the men in this country into pussies and they have succeeded at that.

We're probably past the sweet spot of making it happen - Republicans had the governor and one or both state houses in like 30+ states just not that long ago. I think the numbers have ebbed enough to make it much tougher now.

Levin has been preaching about it for, essentially, the entire time I listened to him.

They are only doing what their father ( ) tells them to do.

If they pack the courts and this country doesn’t have at least 20 million people march on Washington then we’ve surrendered as a nation.

Obama judicial appointment would rule that it was unconstitutional.

These guys: Convention of States have been trying to organize one for years. Either our elected representatives are ignoring their constituents, or not enough constituents are demanding action from those representatives.

This.

It's sad really. I can go off and rant and rave with my family members because they know me but if I talk about these things in front of strangers or people that I just met, well, you should see the looks I get.

I pine for the days when like-minded Patriots met in pubs and plannd to take a stand. Didn't chastise each other for radical ideas, they were inspired by them.

"In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. However, when his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot."

The timid needs their nuts to drop but most importantly, when I lay mine on the table, admire them, respect them and set aside your jealousy and fear and embrace the courageous and magnificent.

It's well beyond time.

We're $27T in debt and talking about just mailing in votes like they're fricking recipes for Aunt Hilda's Turkey Surprise. We're broke, getting more broke and trying to run as fast as we can away from anything that approaches a sense of responsibility on damned near any front.

We may well see the fall of the country in our lifetimes.

We're overdue for a Convention of States

Repeal 17th Amendment (Popular election of Senators)

Repeal 16th Amendment (Abolish income tax/IRS; Replace with National Retail Sales Tax HR. 25)

Term limits for Congress/Senate

they will manipulate all of those ways too. You can't solve the problem without solving the root cause, and the root cause is these people are evil. they are satanic. The vast majority of this country is simply apathetic. while they're being apathetic, the communists/marxists in this country have been working hard since the 1930's. Their plan is right there for anyone to read.

We need to select these elected officials like jury duty. They may pass a law but the public can vote on repealing it. Sunset all regulations.

The problem isn't establishing who has what power or not, but it is rather that those with the power to counter oversteps aren't doing shite about it. For example, a SCOTUS member who clearly legislates from the bench should be impeached, but those that can, won't. Hilliary should be arrested for detroying her emails at a minimum, but no one has, not because they don't know who can but because they don't want to.

Also, a convention of states cuts both ways and opening the constitution to the whimsy of the moronic governors such as found in NY, LA, and CA - not to mention the RINOS as currently found in TX - could lead to more harm than good.

Sure. Go for it. How are you going to get the 47% of states controlled by the Democrats to agree with your Amendment?

Eh, I had rather we just go full civil war 2 or split the stuff up and let the left go their happy way and build their utopia...
