Is Gary Landrieu the poli board’s type of candidate for Governor?

Seems like a guy this board could get behind.
Poli Board Pros:
He wants to open up Vegas style casinos, cut sales tax, put a bounty on and deport illegal aliens, institute tort reform and insurance reform, build a bridge in Baton Rouge, build a wall on the border, wants to get rid of red light cameras, keep up confederate statues, has a smartplan to deal with crime in New Orleans.
He’s 100% pro life.
He’s not a career politician.
He a business guy.
He doesn’t apologize and doubles down on things he’s says.
Poli Board Cons:
He’s an independent. (Not an R)
His last name is Landrieu which this board hates.
Previously a Democrat (but running against Cedric Richmond)

But he's still not worth pissing on even if he's on fire. I have a feeling he would be far more like Rob Ford than Donald Trump.

This is a waste of time for Louisiana politics. LA is not a border state. While I believe its nationally important, it is fodder compared to every other issue you mentioned.
This is akin to someone in Kansas saying they need more legislation regarding flooding in natural disasters.
