It has some beautiful decrepit homes, a gorgeous catholic church, a giant fertilizer plant, and one good restaurant. That’s about it. The crime in that little town is unfathomable for having so few people.

I am from there, and although it has one good restaurant, and some small town feel to it, it is a shite hole. Oh well, is what it is.

I went to the 4th of July fireworks show in Donaldsonville last summer. I won’t be going back again. It is a historic town that has seen better days, is my best description.
