CBS

obviously, the answer is no.

so, (Libertarians) do we continue to raise taxes to help people afford a roof over their head?

interest rates go up...everything goes up. we all know the drill. should our government also require minimum wage to increase?? how do they then compensate the increased business expenses?

How do we carry on? status quo??

(now that you and yours are comfortable) NO MORE GOVERNMENT!

(loses job) first in line to collect unemployment.

(home floods in "no flood zone" and has no insurance) first one to dial FEMA

not sure if you follow but there was one question to Libertarians concerning raising taxes. Libertarians think taxes are theft.

I can't do anything about other people's hypocrisy, so I don't know what your point has to do with me.

1) Try hard in school
2) Graduate HS
3) Work a full time job
4) Don't have kids before marriage.

Follow those 4 rules, save money, and you can afford a house. That doesn't mean a nice high rise in San Francisco. It might be a 2500 square foot ranch home from 1978 in Holden, but it's home ownership.

People need to adjust their expectations.

There isn’t a shortage of affordable housing; there is a shortage of affordable housing in places in which people highly desire to live.

If someone can’t afford a Mercedes, they buy a Pinto. If they can’t afford a Pinto, they ride the bus.

Yet somehow, when someone says they can no longer afford to live in San Francisco or Manhattan, I’m supposed to feel sorry for them? Move somewhere less desirable.

I agree with all or that. That's structure.

But, for those that lack structure for whatever legitimate reason, what happens for those people?
