I hear this often and I don’t doubt that there are plenty of girls & young women from conservative families getting abortions. I knew a few myself, some that had more than one abortion while continuing to present themselves as the perfect Christian conservatives. I know others who also had unplanned pregnancies and they dealt with it by accepting that a mistake was made but we don’t kill anyone to hide our mistakes, certainly not an innocent baby. Heaping hypocrisy and homicide on top of whatever mistakes were already made isn’t a lesson to teach your children.

One can have an abortion to subvert an otherwise poor outcome for either mother or fetus- AND she could also be putting her own life at more risk by having an unsafe abortion in one of the bible thumping states where it’s illegal.
