The chair of the House Intelligence Committee accused the FBI and Department of Justice of stonewalling a sprawling investigation into claims the Trump campaign colluded with Russia with the hope of running out the clock until the November elections, when they anticipate Democrats will regain control of the House and dissolve an ongoing probe that has uncovered evidence U.S. officials sought to cripple Trump's campaign.
Rep. Devin Nunes (R., Calif.), in a wide-ranging audio interview with his House colleague Rep. Sean Duffy (R., Wis.), accused top officials at the FBI and DOJ of "putting all their chips on the Republicans losing the House" so that their Democratic allies can "shut down" the longstanding Intelligence Committee probe, which has unearthed information disputing claims of collusion in recent months.
Rep. Duffy interviewed Rep. Nunes for an upcoming episode of Duffy's podcast, "Plaidcast."
Nunes also lashed out at the U.S. media, accusing "90 percent" of reporters covering the Russia probe of being "essentially an arm of the Democratic party," according to an advance copy of the interview shared with the Washington Free Beacon.

Nunez is a tool. So now the elected Republicans are accusing the Trump appointee Republicans of mischief.

This surprises exactly nobody - hell, even the DEMOCRATs will admit to that.
A 'search for justice' this is not - it is a 'search for an excuse'

We all knew the neverTrumper GOPe and democrats were corrupt. Flake, Sasse, McCain, Romney and turtle types can go play. Enough is enough.I mean....when McCain was a part of getting the IRS to audit the tea party and the dossier; it is knee deep in corruption and power plays to protect their slush funds. I don't think anyone knew how deep the FBI and DOJ have been politicized.
It all needs cleaned out or the same divisive hate will continue in repeat mode like the definition of insanity.
The current powers that be in DC will fight tooth and nail before anyone honorable like Rand or Jim Jordan gains high positions. We are watching this fight at America's expense while Putin laughs at the demoralization SJW crap and infighting of left v. right.

What logical person could argue against this point after all the deep state stonewalling?

This concerns me that internal polling is showing them that dems really are going to take the house in November. They are trying to get ahead of it.

Can’t see past party lines?

It is obvious that EVERYONE in Wash DC, including both political parties, are simply running out the clock on Trump's time in office.
Once Trump is gone, whether that be 2, 4 or 8 years, the Wash DC Establishment intends to immediately return to Globalist Business as Usual.
