Damn, I expected that cop to get eaten but he held his own pretty well. Also either that taser caught jacket and didn't touch skin or that guy is part rhino.

This guy should never see an nfl field. Ever. He’s a menace. He doesn’t respect the law. I would have let the cop walk if he shot him dead in the store. Why did the cop let this guy put him in danger. When he grabbed the taser the cop should have shot him dead.

He did pretty good for a small dude. McDowell is a Dlineman and around 300 lbs.

The comments on that video are awesome. How many people in there saying “it’s your RIGHT to ask for a supervisor”.....what the hell are they smoking? Guy was speeding in the snow and spun out. He should have handed over his license and talked to the supervisor down at the station as he was being booked for DUI. Hell if he got the wrong cop he could have been easily shot when he took the taser. That cop show some serious patience.

That didn't phase him...damn.
On another note...yes he resisted (while REPEATEDLY demanding to see a supervisor haha), but he wasn't as violent as he could have been. He basically tussled with the police officer. Either he was showing some limited restraint, or he was high as a kite and just couldn't function wirth a shite (maybe both). No matter what, jail was happening that night given his issues, and deservedly so.
Kudos to the officer. He handled that pretty well. I personally would have waited for backup, but there is nothing wrong with what he did imho.
