WTF is that? I pray in Jesus' Name. The Name above every name.

No trust in any of this inauguration - nor the 'god' that these people believe in.

To be fair, not everyone does.

Those people make a mockery of God’s name. They might win now but eternity is a long, long time to suffer in hell.

Oh, yeah...Molech. That should be enough indication about the direction of this country. They also wiggled themselves out of saying the pledge.

Wiggle all you want folks - you can rig an election, but you cannot escape the God of this nation.

He said collective faith on behalf of all Americans, who are not all Christian. There’s plenty to bitch about, but this ain’t it.

I haven’t watched any of today’s happenings. But I have to ask the following questions:

Did he use a Bible during the swearing in?
He’s Catholic, right? So why on earth would he pray “In the strong name of our collective faith”?

Ending a prayer like that should go against his faith. He’s acknowledging what exactly here?

Oh you can get ready for it... the push to one religion is on the way... all the "we worship the same god just different names" folks... Amen and Awomen...

I watched online.

quote:

He put his left hand on a really large book. Who knows what was inside.

quote:

He’s Catholic, right? So why on earth would he pray “In the strong name of our collective faith”?

Precisely.

In my personal opinion he's the spearhead for Buddhism. The country has been moving that way for quite some time.

Biden's Holy Book, used in his swearing-in

quote:

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Joe Biden has announced his plan to be sworn in on his favorite text: a copy of The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels.

"I will do my duty to this country and swear on this book that represents the guiding principles of my party," Biden said in a speech, every word coming out with the utmost effort and with the help of a powerful concoction of drugs. "For as long as I am your president, whether that is 8 years, 4 years, or less than 24 hours, I will uphold my oath made on this sacred text."

Not every president has been sworn in on the Bible, with Barack Obama being sworn in on a copy of one of his memoirs and George W. Bush being sworn in on a VHS copy of Delta Force. Still, some are criticizing the choice, calling it "anti-American" and "a clear sign of his support for socialism." These people have had their Twitter accounts deleted for being crazy conspiracy theorists.

Kamala Harris has said she still plans to be sworn in on a Bible, but during rehearsal they were having trouble getting her to touch one without hissing and vomiting with her head spinning around like a lawn sprinkler.

He meant government. It's fine. Most Americans worship government. Including churches.

Doesn't that illustrate the meaninglessness of a line like "our collective faith"?

Collective faith?

Never read anything in the Bible about group rates.
